Wildflower Volunteers are the heart of our organization. We need you to not only survive, to thrive. Receive a Wildflower t-shirt and take a book with you when you volunteer for any of the following:
Sorting and organizing books
Packaging boxes of books (Lift 15-20 lbs.)
Collect books and donations
Organize spreadsheet of book inventory
Write posts for social media
Write monthly newsletter
Create and organize literacy events
Read books to children in our libraries and reading spaces
Connect with authors for Zoom meetings with Teen Wellness Center Students
Connect with organizations donating books
Write a small grant
Write a big grant
Write a summary of teen/young adult books
Put together reading kits for events
Contact libraries for used book donations and books in Spanish
Write blog posts on the website
Create and put together story time kits
Replenish free books at our libraries and reading spaces
Connect with literacy organizations on co-collaborating
Attend and participate in a reading space installation
Read books and refer them to us with a brief summary
Update our Book Wish List
Update our website with pictures and content
